Librarians Release Online Survey of Digitized Rare Catholica

Marta Deyrup and Martha Loesch, catalogers at Walsh Library and Pat Lawton, digital project librarian for the Catholic Research Resources Alliance, have released the results of their Survey of Digitized Rare Catholica held by Catholic universities, colleges, seminaries and archives in the U.S. and Canada. Chemistry Essay contest – win an ipad!

The Elsevier International Year of Chemistry 2011 Essay Competition  is open to undergraduate and graduate students.

Write an essay answering the following question:  How can chemistry contribute to solving the challenge of developing sustainable resources (water, energy, food) in the 21st century? Essays must be no more than 1000 words.

Library Hours for Exam Week

The library will continue to be open 24 hours this week, closing at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13.  The library will be closed on Saturday & Sunday, May 14-15, and reopen at 7:00 a.m. on Monday.  Library Hours
