ORIGINAL:

All provisions of this Faculty Guide apply to the following major academic divisions of Seton Hall University: the College of Arts and Sciences, the W. Paul Stillman School of Business, the School of Diplomacy and International Relations, the College of Education and Human Services, the University Libraries, and the College of Nursing.

REVISION:

All provisions of this Faculty Guide apply to the following major academic divisions of Seton Hall University: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Communication and the Arts, the College of Education and Human Services, the School of Diplomacy and International Relations, the College of Nursing, the W. Paul Stillman School of Business, and the University Libraries.

c. Academic Policy Committee

i. Motion Regarding SA/NA grades:

The APC endorses the creation of a new “NA” (never attended) grade. The currently existing “NR” (no record/not reported) grade will be removed from the grading menu for faculty. In addition, the grade “F/SA” (failure/stopped attending) will be added to the grading scheme to allow faculty members to indicate if a student who earned an F also stopped attending at some point during the semester. The Executive Committee and the administration will work together to develop the catalogue language for these grades. These changes shall be effective starting fall 2015.
