Putting Your Money Where Your Mouth Is In Education Leadership

Seton Hall University’s Bergen 2 Cohort in Ed. Leadership embarks on their yearlong two term 600 hour internship.  Here is where the classroom theory meets the actual practice much like where the rubber meets the road. Students will observe teachers. Chair conferences, rewrite curriculum, handle disciplinary issues, work on budgets and do all the things administrators do. They will deal with real issues and develop strategies and create solutions to problems. Utilizing what they have learned they will help to create a safe, secure and innovative environment where students can learn comfortably and reach their full potential.  What a great model as they work under the tutelage of a building administrator and a mentor from Seton Hall University.  They will cap off their internship by doing 50 hours of service in a district unlike the one they work in to see how the other half lives. WOW WHAT A PROGRAM…UNMATCHED AND UNPARALLELED.
