first things first

Well let’s talk about the first step of makeup, which is before the makeup. You must have your hair out of your face, this is a very helpful step especially for non professionals (aka me). It gets your hair out of your face right up to the hairline which allows you to blend your foundation or concealer right to the edge of your hair. This is important especially if your product may not be an exact match to your skin tone. I recently picked this headband up at Ulta and it is called “I dew care brown bear headband”. I picked it up for 6 dollars which is totally not necessary, you can use whatever headband you have available to you, this one’s just cute so I wasted my money on it.

Also the makeup I used in this picture is the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea foundation, Catrice Liquid Camouflage concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte powder, NYX bronzer, Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade, Morphe eyeshadows, L’oréal Paris Lash Paradise mascara and Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.
