Another Disney Setback: Snow Show and the Several Empty Theatres

April 22, 2025 Abigale Giordano

Throughout its production and now premier, the live-action remake of Snow White has been nothing but a poisoned apple for Disney. The company is no longer the fairest of them all: from public relations crises to lackluster profits to political controversy, the film has been nothing but a disaster. Unfortunately, no Prince Charming can save the day for what the Observer describes as a “toe-curlingly terrible” film.

Japan’s Population Decline: Addressing the Need for Supporting Families and the Economy

April 22, 2025 Envoy Staff Writer

In a world once concerned with overpopulation, an unexpected threat has emerged: population decline. With some nations decreasing their inclination to have children—whether due to high living costs or demographic changes, countries like Japan are struggling to keep themselves afloat. This demographic crisis requires urgent and targeted reforms, as failure to act will further undermine Japan’s social systems and economy.

Aid Cuts in Ukraine, The Largest Recipient of USAID Funding

April 22, 2025 Sofia Diaz

As President Donald Trump begins his second term in office, significant cuts in foreign assistance aid had been announced earlier this year, affecting the 177 eligible countries in 2023 that received United States aid. Ukraine faces the highest reduction at the country level among these nations. Ukrainians are already beginning to feel the impact of these aid cuts, and many are growing more concerned over the uncertainty of the future.
