Mind your Mind: Mental Health, Identity, and Activism was curated by M.A. Museum Professions students in the Spring 2021 ARMS 6616: Museums, Activism, & Social Issues course at Seton Hall University.


Meet our Student Curators:

Aware of the Stigma

Angelina D’Angelo is a student in the M.A. Museum Professions program at Seton Hall University. Her concentration within the M.A. program is registration and collections management. She completed her undergraduate work also at Seton Hall in December 2020. Her B.A. is in Communication and Classical Studies.

Lauren Rivera is a student within the dual degree program for Museum Professions at Seton Hall University. She is studying for her B.A. in Art History with a minor in History and is on track to graduate fall of 2021.

Mental Health & Climate Change

Christopher Bohm is a graduate student in the M.A. Museum Professions program at Seton Hall University. He also completed his B.A. in Anthropology at Seton Hall University and currently works full-time in management at Ronetco Supermarkets, inc.

Elyse Gombas is a graduate student in the M.A. Museum Professions program at Seton Hall University, concentrating in registration and collections management, and earned her B.A. in Art History from Rutgers University in 2017. She currently works at the Zimmerli Art Museum as the Digitization Collections Assistant.

Mental Health & the LGBTQIA+ Community

Julie Golt is a student in the M.A. Museum Professions program on the Registration professional track at Seton Hall University. She earned her B.A. in English with a concentration in Literature and a minor in Art History from West Chester University in 2013.

Shannon Hahn is a student in the M.A. Museum Professions program with a concentration in Registration and Collections Management at Seton Hall University. She earned her B.A. in Art History from the Pennsylvania State University in 2019.

Mental Health, Race & Ethnicity

Andrew Cates is a graduate student in the Museum Professions program at Seton Hall University. He completed his undergraduate studies at the same institution in May of 2020. In addition to being a student, he works for the Women’s Basketball Team at Seton Hall, runs logistics for healthcare simulation, and is a professional photographer and graphic designer.

Ian Cherry is a graduate student in the M.A. Museum Professions at Seton Hall with a focus on museum registration. He has completed a B.A. in Art Design, Interactive Media from Seton Hall University, with minors in History, Art History, and Fine Arts. He has previously worked as a collections intern with the Seton Hall University Monsignor William Noé Field Archives & Special Collections Center, where he cataloged and photographed a large portion of the collection’s ceramics.

Kelvin Vivor is a graduate student in the M.A. Museum Professions program on the Exhibition Development track at Seton Hall University. He earned his B.A. in Anthropology as an undergraduate student in May 2017.

Mental Health & Material Insecurity

Clare Holmes is an international graduate student in the M.A. Museum Professions program at Seton Hall University. She gained her undergraduate degree in Historical Studies from The University of Glasgow, Scotland, in 2014. Along with her current graduate work, she has a background in non-profit administration and hopes to combine these two areas in her future career.

Sophia Hudzik is a graduate student in the M.A. Museum Professions program at Seton Hall University. Inspired by community-focused projects, including oral histories and digital humanities projects, she received her B.A. in Anthropology and Archaeology from Montclair State University in 2016.
