The Developmental Language and Cognition Lab is committed to Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity.
Our mission is 1) to understand typical course and processes of development and 2) to advocate for developmentally appropriate assessments and interventions in clinical practice. We study the prevention and intervention processes for children with language impairments and those who may not be recognized on a test.
We believe that best practice for children with impairments has a foothold in a solid knowledge of typical processes.
