Churches of the Archdiocese of Newark

, , ,

A project documenting the art and architecture of the Archdiocese of Newark. With interior and exterior photos, it catalogs the architects, designers, windows, bells and other distinctive features of these architectural treasures. Using advanced taxonomy tools, the names and dates are laid out in a logical fashion, with cross-references that allow users to zero in on a specific facet. A Google Maps plug-in gives geographical data as well.

The site runs the “Jenny” theme, and Cufon provides the condensed font. Also with the Magic Fields plugin providing the ability to include metadata and image galleries. The Search Everything plugin makes it all findable.
