Myles Cale Announces Return to Pirates for Fifth Year of Eligibility

Myles Cale, a senior guard for the Pirates, has announced his intention to remain at Seton Hall for his fifth year of eligibility. He has played more games at Seton Hall than all but 13 people; his fifth year will be sure to beat that record.

With the NCAA granting an extra year to everyone due to the pandemic, seniors across the country are sizing up greener pastures and looking elsewhere for their fifth and final year of college ball. His teammates and good friends, Sandro Mamukelashvili and Shavar Reynolds, have decided to move on. Incomers include four-star recruit Brandon Weston, a wing, and two other impact guards: transfer Jamir Harris and incoming freshman Ryan Conway.

Cale is 14 points shy of 1,000 as a collegian after averaging career high 11.9 points this past season. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the 2021-22 season opener will be Cale’s 126th game for the Pirates; a number nine shy of the program record of 135 set in 2019 by Michael Nzei.
