The Senate Executive Committee, on behalf of the Senate and the faculty, continues to be in consultation with members of the Board of Regents and with the Search Committee regarding the Presidential search.
As part of this effort, and in order to convey the voice of faculty members directly, the Executive Committee invited the members of the SHU faculty to participate in a survey regarding the faculty’s expectations of qualifications for our next President. The survey was sent to faculty in June. Here are the results.
The Executive Committee presented the results of the survey to the Search Committee on July 7. At the meeting we had the opportunity to discuss the findings answer questions. We assured the Search committee of our continued interest in and willingness to participate in the search in an advisory capacity. Here is the introduction of our presentation.
