i. Motion: To approve the Core Curriculum Committee By-Laws.

ii. Motion: First reading of the proposed changes to delete “at least” in Article 5.4 (b)

b.         The University Rank and Tenure Committee shall consist of eleven (11) tenured faculty members holding the rank of professor.  Each of the constituent schools of the university must be represented on the committee and at least three (3) of its members shall hold tenured rank in the College of Arts and Sciences, two (2) of its members shall hold tenured rank in the W. Paul Stillman School of Business, and two (2) of its members shall hold tenured rank in the College of Education and Human Services.

a. Rationale: With the School of Communication and the Arts, A&S, Stillman and Education would no longer have a possibility of more than the number of members noted.
