The Faculty Senate meets monthly during the academic year, September through June. See the next tab for the meeting schedule. All faculty members are welcome to attend Faculty Senate meetings, but non-senators can speak only at the discretion of the Chair. Be advised that non-senators will be asked to leave the meeting if the body goes into Executive Session. Mission:

As defined by the Faculty Guide, Article 12.6, the Faculty Senate represents the faculty of the South Orange campus in matters of academic policies and procedures as well as matters of faculty welfare. It has the right and duty to represent that faculty on all matters which affect the South Orange faculty as a whole and to help inform faculty opinion on matters of campus-wide importance.
