We reviewed the Open Space Conference that took place on January 29. People described the event as a process that was surprisingly horizontal, open, and democratic, and as a good way to build the community of the School of Diplomacy. A problem was the mystery of the event before attending, as many people said they had trouble convincing other students to attend due to an inability to explain the event. The External Affairs team will be holding an event with all of the questions discussed at the Open Space Conference for students who did not attend so that they can engage with the actions steps that will be created as a follow up.
