A Shortened Workout

Today my friend and I went to the gym between classes. We try to go a couple times a week, but sometimes it gets boring (or just hard to get there time wise). Anyways, today we actually made it! But due to boredom of repeated workouts, we decided to switch up the usual routine:
We started off with cardio on the bike for 15 minutes. Usually we run, but biking was a nice change (not to mention you’re not totally out of breath so we were able to talk the whole time).
Then we moved to some ab work outs where you pick your legs up parallel to the ground and lower them back down for three sets of ten.
After that we moved to arms– three sets of ten reps of curls on each arm to work the biceps. Then the same amount of sets and reps with one free weight behind your head, then straighten your arms. This works out your triceps. Moving downstairs, we did three sets of ten reps of a pull down arm machine that worked the back, and the same amount of sets and reps at a shoulders front pull down. We finished the work out with ten reps three times at a row machine.
If references are needed, below is a short video of our day at the gym:
Finally, we did some sun salutations to stretch my body as a whole. After working out, I always feel in the mood to work out. I know that sounds dumb, but the I guess release of endorphins is really motivational! With that in mind, while we were still working out we made plans to go back on Wednesday– stay tuned to see if we actually make it!
Wow, I always struggle with finding time to work out with my busy schedule and this shortened workout definitely helps me maximize the small amount of time I spend at the gym! 10/10 recommending this to all my friends.
