Online Teaching Certificate: Kickoff Workshop
October 11th, 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

This workshop, co-sponsored by the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center and the Center for Faculty Development, will introduce the new Online Teaching Certificate program. The program is designed to take faculty from development through facilitation of their online courses and hybrid courses; to further increase instructor-to-student engagement and satisfaction; and to provide technology skills and resources to increase faculty confidence while teaching. Faculty will be awarded a Certificate in Online Teaching by the Center for Faculty Development after completing the five core workshops.
At this kickoff workshop you will learn about the core workshops that comprise the certificate, as well as reasons you might want to pursue this credential.
Refreshments will be served.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win a Snowball USB Microphone to use for personal lecture capture.
