Leadership Sophomores Accept Invitation to Business Networking Event

Leadership Advisory Council Member and owner of Nirvana Promotions LLC, Susan Sacco, was able to become acquainted with sophomores Anthony Pescetto and Noel Girgenti at the Council Dinner on January 29th. This networking event for Leadership Development Honors Program students and the Advisory Council is an integral part of the Program’s mission in facilitating executive relationships. A few days after their invigorating conversation that night and talking about individual initiative groups, Ms. Sacco invited both students to her personal networking organization, BNI, in New York City on Tuesday, February 25th, at 7 AM. The invitation was graciously accepted.

This is Ms. Sacco’s account of the event:

Anthony Pescetto and Noel Girgenti braved a cold morning train and subway ride into NYC to meet with me and my BNI networking Chapter (BNI -Business Networking International – our Chapter website is www.bni53.com)   The meeting began at 7:00 a.m. this morning [Tuesday, February 25th] and they were on time, ready to network and impress.  As you will see they were dressed professionally and were prepared.  They each spoke comfortably in front of a group 60 strong and proudly presented Seton Hall’s Leadership Program, including their individual initiatives.  They even invited Members to consider interest in the SHU Leadership team as well as presenting a talented pool of Interns to consider for their Internship programs.  Additionally, before and after  the meeting they were on hand to network with members and other guests.

All in all I was very proud to have them be a reflection on the quality of Guests I invite into my dynamic Chapter and look forward to hearing about the positive results that follow from their willingness to seize the opportunity.

Noel and Anthony give their utmost thanks to Ms. Sacco for extending the invitation. Joining her and the rest of the BNI organization was a truly exciting and insightful experience that not only helped expand their networks, but also form an executive relationship with Ms. Sacco that will be shared for years to come.

On behalf of the the Leadership Development Honors Program, we thank Ms. Sacco for providing such a magnificent opportunity to our students and we congratulate Noel and Anthony for taking up this offer along with representing our Leadership Team with honor and professionalism at this event!
