    Hi Gianna,

I love your poster and it is filled with such important information that is not talked about enough in schools. The stress that first-generation students undergo is extremely overwhelming.

Tremendous amount of detail and factual evidence. I really appreciated how you also included the barriers that First-Gen students face. Understanding that it’s not just economic but, highly emotional. It’s just as important for them to be emotionally and mentally supported. Not just to start college but successfully finish college too. Well done.

Very thorough and well-done poster and presentation. This is such an important topic that has a clear and relevant relationship to income inequality. Great connection to the Social Work Grand Challenges. I particularly liked your discussion of barriers for first-generation students’ success as well as suggestions on all levels of prevention. Good job.
