Who will win this year’s All-Star game? Team Lebron or Team Giannis?
This year’s All-Star game is the first time that there will be two captains as the face of the teams. In the past, the All-Star game was the Eastern Conference versus the Western Conference.
The All-Star game will take place on Sunday, January 17th. All-Star Weekend is taking place in the Spectrum Center in Charlottle, North Carolina.
Most people that follow the NBA are fans of this new kind of game, but there was one complaint. Last year, the draft was done in secrecy so this year the league did it live on national television so the fans could see the whole process of who gets picked when.
Another addition to the All-Star game is that they are adding one special player to each team. The special addition to team Lebron is Dwayne Wade, and for team Giannis it is Dirk Nowitski.
The team captains are Lebron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo. They were picked based on a voting process that took place earlier.
An instagram poll was taken yesterday, asking people whose team they think will win. 81% of the people voted for team Lebron, and 19% of the people voted for team Giannis.
