Our Story
Breaking the Chain Through Education is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating child slavery in Ghana, Africa. We have rescued 71 children, reunited them with their families, and currently these children are attending school, some for the first time. In addition, in order to reduce the need for child labor, we built a school for 250 children in a remote and impoverished area.
We are a unique grassroots organization. Our goal is to continue to rescue children that have been trafficked and restore them to a life of dignity and education. To read more about the history and goals of BTCTE, and how you can be a part of this remarkable journey, please read through our site.
