Notes From The Training Sessions

This month we offered sessions on WordPress 101 and WordPress 201.

The “101” course covered the basics. What’s on the dashboard, how to do posts and pages (and what’s the difference), theme and plugin basics, widget configurations. The slide deck is available here.

The “201” session walked through the processes for implementing some more advanced features. An events calendar (page and widget), an image gallery, and forms. That deck is here.

Both of the sites hosting the slideshows are under the command of the students in the courses, and open for experimentation. Don’t be alarmed at any strange formatting!
