Incubation Grant

Dr. Marta Deyrup and Dr. Mary Balkun of Seton Hall University have been awarded a $5000 Incubation Grant by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities for their proposed project on “Civic Engagement in the Digital Age,” which will help communities create citizen engagement programs in anticipation of the 2020 election. The project builds on a pilot initiative on the same topic that engaged civic and cultural leaders in the town of South Orange. The next phase of the project would engage additional towns and involve the development of a Digital Citizenry Toolkit.
