Theology

Students who complete the four Honors Colloquia may pursue a primary or secondary major in Theology. The arrangement is that the four Honors Colloquia count toward 18 credits of the Theology major. Beyond this, the remaining for a primary or secondary major in Theology are 18 credits as follows:

THEO AS A PRIMARY MAJOR
    • THEO 1501 To Know God
    • THEO 1203 New Life in Christ
    • THEO 1404 Life of the Soul
    • THEO 1502 Church’s Saving Mysteries
    • 1 additional THEO course at the 3000 level
    • 1 (3 credit) THEO independent study (in most cases, this independent study can also serve as the final project/thesis for the  Honors Program)
THEO AS A SECONDARY MAJOR
  • THEO 1501 To Know God
  • THEO 1203 New Life in Christ
  • THEO 1404 Life of the Soul
  • THEO 1502 Church’s Saving Mysteries
  • 2 other THEO courses– 1 must be 3000 level
