Meet Our Newest HEGSA Steward

SarahAndrewsPhotoSarah Andrews is a first-semester master’s student from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities as a Biology major for two years, later transferring to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English.

Her higher education background began in 2002 when she was energetically involved in residence life. Sarah’s professional experience is quite diverse, having worked in various fields in and out of higher education, at home, and abroad. However, she reports that her passion is students. Her educational leadership aim is to encourage international scholars take full advantage of their university experience by encouraging emotional maturity, personal success, and building strong networks in America.

Currently, Sarah is honored to serve as Graduate Assistant at The Career Center, where she strives to recognize students that require direction during their higher educational journey. She is driven to help shape college careers of diverse student populations; teaching them the balance of celebrating their culture while attending school. She hopes to be an administrator working in either international programming, career planning and development, or campus ministries upon graduation.
