Practical Pedagogy Book Club

The new Practical Pedagogy Book Club is a relaxed, collaborative opportunity to explore relevant and engaging readings about teaching.  We’ll meet every 2–3 weeks to chat about a selection from a book (e.g., 1 or 2 chapters) and share insights that we can bring into our classrooms.

If you are interested in joining, please email Elizabeth.McCrea@shu.edu and include your name, department, and if you prefer to meet in person or via TEAMS.  The book selections (provided by the Center for Faculty Development) and meeting day/time will be determined by the participants’ preferences.  Feel to suggest a good pedagogical book if you know of one you would like to read!

All faculty are welcome to participate.
