“DSS Workshop: Faculty Support of Students with Learning Disabilities”

Disability Support Services and the Center for Faculty Development invite you to join Carolyn Corbran for a presentation and discussion of her dissertation research on “Exploring students’ with learning disabilities perceptions of faculty support and bias.” Case study discussions among participants will be facilitated based on the themes and findings of this research study. The session will also introduce implications from the research as well as important access and inclusion awareness topics for accommodating students in the classroom. Disability as an important facet of diversity will be discussed, since students, faculty, and staff can personally experience disability at any point in their lifetimes. Q &A time will be allotted.
