The Class of 2019 Hosts “Dancing Through the Decades” Freshman Gala!
On February 15th, 2016, the Leadership Class of 2019 hosted the annual Freshman Gala. Despite the treacherous winter weather outside, the event was a wonderful gathering of the leadership family in the Jubilee Hall Atrium. The night was kicked off with some great music and food that many upperclassmen seemed rather impressed with. Following dinner, 38 superlative awards for 19 categories were distributed among those in attendance. The superlative winners were based on a voting process that included fun categories such as “Professor’s Pet”, “Most Likely to be Famous”, “Should’ve been Sisters”, “Best Dressed”, and many more! Dessert was served, raffles were won, music was danced to, and laughs were exchanged. Samantha Seitz and Christine Karolewski spearheaded the leadership for this event along with the Gala’s emcee, Mike Cappelluti. The entire freshman class actively participated in order to make the evening truly special. The class thanks Mike Reuter for his guidance, as well as all the upperclassmen who attended for their positive energy.
