Dr. Buccino Shares Leadership Learnings With Current Students
On Friday February 5th, Dr. Jerry Buccino visited with the students of the Gerald P. Buccino ’63 Center for Leadership Development to share the learnings that he has had throughout his career. Dr. Buccino touched on core values that are important to keep in mind in all of one’s pursuits. These values include passion, courage, strength and passion.
Dr. Buccino also provided the students with 14 key tips for success:
- Be prepared
- Have a strong handshake
- Make eye contact
- Be well dressed
- Do not be afraid to stand out
- Smile
- Take care of your health
- Be optimistic
- Learn to listen before you speak
- Take risks
- Keep an active resume
- Network as much as possible
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset
