Throughout the two hour presentation, Mr. Davidson shared many stories and life experiences in which one common theme was present – the undeniable importance of resilience. As aspiring leaders, the team is in unison that the messages expressed were incredibly valuable assets that could be utilized in both their personal and professional futures. The next morning, Mr. Davidson was generous enough to meet with some of the leadership freshman to further discuss and answer any questions pertaining to his book and life experiences. This was a priceless opportunity for the students to learn from the author in an intimate, practically one on one, setting. When asked about her experience pertaining to the presentation, leadership freshman, Samantha Seitz cited: “it was extremely interesting to hear the real life account of The Ledge as opposed to reading it from a book. There was something intriguing about the fact that the story was someone’s reality.”
