Three Minute Leadership: On Will Power

To:  The Great Leaders Who Have a Passion for Continuous Learning

Vince Lombardi, renowned football coach, said: “The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.”

It is the will to challenge, experiment and innovate. It is the will to embrace every experience as learning and not failure. It is the will to endure, persevere and be relentless. It is the will to see the world as it has not yet been seen. It is the will to make one’s own path. It is the will to care deeply and passionately for people. It is the will to stand comfortably in the shoes of others and see the world through their eyes. It is the will to continuously learn.  It is the will to live every day as though it is the last, and live with joy, love and passion. It is the will to give oneself completely in pursuit of one’s purpose and mission in life.

Buddha tells great leaders: “Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.” Be that candle… that source of light and hope for thousands and hundreds of thousands of others. Have the will to light the world. Light it with fire, passion and love. And have fun doing it.

Have a beautiful day and a magnificent week!!!
