South Mountain Reservation is a 2,110 acre nature reserve located in central in portions of Maplewood, Millburn and West Orange, bordering South Orange, between the first and second ridges of the Watchung Mountains. Park at the top and walk the loop to Washington’s Lookout, with its broad view of the region, or look for Hemlock Falls.

Eagle Rock Reservation is a 408.33-acre forest reserve and recreational park in the First Watchung Mountain of New Jersey, primarily in the communities of West Orange, Montclair, and Verona. Don’t miss the 9/11 Memorial.

A 2,000+ acre preserve located in the northern portion of Union County, the Reservation was designed by the Olmsted Brothers, the celebrated landscape architects who designed New York’s Central Park. It’s just a little bit more untamed than South Mountain, but offers extra features like a nature center, a lake for fishing, and horseback riding.

The South Orange Performing Arts Center is a destination where you can experience theatre, music, dance, art, and many other forms of entertainment. It has a Mainstage Theatre that accommodates 439 people and also has a 2,170 square foot loft area. It is also home to Seton Hall University Arts Council’s performances which includes a Classical Concert Series, Jazz ‘n the Hall, and many other Seton Hall University theatre productions.
