Preventing School Gun Violence: How Red Flag Laws Protect Youth

Red Flag laws seem to be effective in controlling school violence. The author did not give any documentation to support that theory. The laws definitely provide time for social workers and other mental health professionals to provide therapy and counseling to these at-risk students. What I like about this presentation is the collaboration between law enforcement, school personnel, family, and students. It definitely takes a team to protect our students from gun violence which is clearly rampant in our society
