Patricia Tiseo, BSN,CGRN, Teresita Dimaano, BSN, RN

I am originally from S. Korea where I studied BSN coursework. I moved to US in 2004 to advance nursing career and I worked at hospitals like Newark Beth Israel MC & NYP Periop since I came to US. I am currently working at Hackensack Univ MC. I also work as a FNP at an urgent care since I graduated the UMDNJ FNP program in 2012. I was introduced to EBP while I was in NP course and I thought of conducting EBP since then. I noted that CO2 was not used in colonoscopy as a standard practice at HUMC and so I discussed it with Endo nurses who assured me to support this project. I contacted the Research Committee of HUMC, and they granted my project to proceed. The research committee guided me along the way and I have to say that it was very much exciting journey.
