Julia Millspaugh is a board-certified Holistic Nurse and has been practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu® (JSJ) for eleven years at Atlantic Health hospitals. She was the Primary Investigator in two JSJ Self-Help studies at Morristown Medical Center (MMC). She is also the Nurse Planner for the Jin Shin Jyutsu Professional Practitioner course and Assistant Manager for Integrative Services at MMC.

Catherine Errico is a board-certified Health and Wellness Nurse Coach and Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) Self-Help educator working as an Integrative Medicine Practitioner at Morristown Medical Center. Since the COVID-19 crisis, her focus has shifted from helping patients at the medical center by providing interventions to help with their pain, anxiety and nausea relief to helping nurses with strategies aimed at decreasing stress and increasing resiliency. In addition, Catherine co-developed and teaches an eight-hour Introduction to JSJ Self-Help for the American Holistic Nursing Association’s Integrative Healing Arts Program and is adjunct faculty for the International Nurse Coach Association. She is also an advocate for making core competencies in self-care strategies part of any initial nursing education program to help with stress reduction during the student years, helping transition from student to professional nurse and helping nurses to remain actively engaged in the profession and not get burned out.

Sunnie Mortimer BSN, RN, HWNC-BC- BC is a board certified Holistic Nurse and Wellness Coach at Morristown Medical Center. She is certified as a Stress Management Instructor, HeartMath Clinical Practitioner and Interactive Metronome Brain Training Instructor. She offers individual and group sessions in holistic stress management and building resilience. As a Health and Wellness Nurse Coach, she offers coaching sessions to facilitate positive lifestyles. Sunnie is a Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner, and a member of the Jin Shin Jyutsu research team.

Mildred Ortu Kowalski, PhD, RN, NE-BC is the nurse researcher and manager of the Center for Nursing Innovation and Research at Morristown Medical Center in N.J. In this role she facilitates research, quality improvement and evidence-based practice for nurses at the medical center. She supports nurses and other healthcare professionals with education and logistics related to clinical research. She is a member of the Institutional Review Board at Atlantic Health System (AHS). She earned her PhD in Nursing Theory and Research from New York University. She has over 30 years of experience in clinical healthcare and research. She has served as the Director of Nursing in a community hospital as well as Director of Patient Advocacy for pharmaceutical company before join AHS. She recently worked with a team and received a US Patent related to a device to document wound healing and reduce pressure injuries.
