Resources for First-Year Writing

CORE English I (ENGL 1201) is a first-year course that develops the processes of expository and persuasive prose. ENGL 1201 is a three-credit course, the first of two required first-year English courses. It focuses primarily on essays as models for the rhetorical patterns that students will use in developing their own expository and argumentative essays.
