CHI St. Luke’s Health Administrative Fellowship

I am pleased to announce the 2016-2017 application cycle for the CHI St. Luke’s Health 12-month postgraduate administrative fellowship program. This outstanding program provides one to two exceptional postgraduates an unparalleled opportunity to learn the governance and operations of one of Houston’s most integrated healthcare systems. With this email, I invite qualified candidates from your institution to apply.

Originally founded in 1954 by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, St. Luke’s is now part of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI). Our organization has grown from a single site to a diverse portfolio of seventeen hospitals. CHI St. Luke’s Health is anchored by our 864-bed flagship hospital, Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, located in the competitive environment of the Texas Medical Center. The administrative fellowship at CHI St. Luke’s Health offers students an opportunity to explore their interests among our unique mix of private practice, academic, community, and group practice medicine.

I have had the privilege to mentor over 40 administrative fellows in my career. We at CHI St. Luke’s Health find great value in helping train the next generation of healthcare leaders. I look forward to having students of your program apply to the CHI St. Luke’s Health administrative fellowship.

Additional information on the administrative fellowship program and CHI St. Luke’s Health can be found in the attached brochure and on our website. Applications for the 2016-2017 administrative fellowship program must be received by October 3, 2016. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply early. Questions about the program may be directed to our current fellows, Lanie Crow and Todd Hardy.
