Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Grants

The MDA supports research aimed at developing treatments for the muscular dystrophies and related diseases of the neuromuscular system. This includes, but is not limited to: motor neuron diseases, peripheral nerve disorders, inflammatory myopathies, disorders of the neuromuscular junction; metabolic diseases of muscle and other myopathies. MDA provides both research grants for independent investigators and development grants for research teams. Awards range from 1-3 years, with a maximum of $60,000 per year for development grants. Funding levels for research grants are unlimited. Letters of intent are due annually on December 15 and June 15. For more information, see the link below:
