October 19 Meeting

Though the President was out sick for the meeting, Isla Lamont took over and addressed all aspects of the agenda and fostered great discussion on the Brexit.

However, the President still made an appearance on Skype for new members to say hello. New members Kiersten Meyers and Lyndsey Cole sat in on their first discussion. Welcome!

Blog Topic

Santiago Losada agreed to write the first weekly blog post on a topic of his choice. It will be 600+ words with sources. He will briefly present the contents of his topic at next week’s meeting on Wednesday, October 26 in the Diplomacy Room.

European Student Conference

On February 10th and 11th, European Horizons will engage in the European Student Conference at Yale University. All Seton Hall members are expected to apply and attend. We will discuss transportation in the upcoming months.

Discussion

The discussion revolved around the Brexit and the implications for the European Union as well as the world at large when it comes to diplomatic entities.

Wrap-Up

Next week’s meeting is Wednesday, October 26 at 8:00 PM in the Diplomacy Room. Members will receive a copy of the discussion topic from Felipe Bueno by the end of this week. Please send in applications to the Yale Conference as soon as possible!
