Job Opportunity at NYU

The job listing, and interested candidates are more than welcome to reach out to me.  I’ve included some additional details below if that might be helpful in getting the word out:

Ideal Start Date: ASAP, ideally no later than Late Jan/Early Feb

Modality: It’s classified as a hybrid position, which means typically one remote day per week during the school year and two during the summer.  There’s a little bit of flexibility in those policies, but the role is majority in person at NYU’s Washington Square campus.

Salary: Budgeted at $75000  (The posted range will be significantly wider than that, but this is the actual budgeted hiring amount).

Relocation: NYU doesn’t typically provide relocation assistance, but we can consider it on a case by case basis.  There may also be some flexibility for the position to start remote to ease the transition to NYC if you are relocating.

Organizational Structure: This position reports to me and will be one of three assistant directors on our team of four.  We’re housed within the NYU Changemaker Center, and we share administrative support across the unit.  The position will not have any direct reports but will help manage our graduate student workers on specific projects and initiatives.

Timeline: I am hoping to hold first round interviews before Winter Break.  I recommend applying by December 8 for confirmed consideration in the first round.

Anyone who is interested is welcome to reach out to me directly.  And if you have any recommendations, please send them my way!

Best,

Kurt Davies (he/they)
