Daniel Philpott

Daniel Philpott is Professor of Political Science and Peace Studies and Director of the Center for Civil and Human Rights at the University of Notre Dame. He is author of Just and Unjust Peace: An Ethic of Political Reconciliation (2012). He has pursued reconciliation as an activist in Kashmir and in the Great Lakes Region of Africa. Most recently, he has conducted research on forgiveness in Uganda.
