A good piece of student writing starts with a well-crafted assignment or prompt. Without realizing it, we can often create assignments that are confusing, overwhelming, or vague. If you would like feedback on the writing assignments you have been using or will be using for your classes, please join us for this faculty peer-review and discussion session. Members of the English department’s writing faculty will be on hand to discuss any questions or concerns you have about your assignments. Please bring two copies of an assignment you would like to discuss, and, if you like, anonymized student essays that have resulted from those assignments.
