The Flag Project

2020 has been a challenging year for so many people in several ways. Over the summer, Rockefeller Center saw these tough times as an opportunity to highlight the enduring strength of New York through the lens of local artists with The Flag Project. As a lover of art, Tim minored in Graphic Design at Seton Hall and uses those experiences in designing social media posts for his SiriusXM music channels. When Rockefeller Center advertised The Flag Project, creating a submission was a no brainer. Tim’s design was selected alongside nearly 200 artists to appear in Rockefeller Center in August as an 8 foot by 5 foot flag, an unforgettable experience and a future time capsule of what 2020 was like and how we continue to persevere.
