Congratulations Mario Damasceno, Buccino Scholar for the Class of 2019!

On February 5th, the newest member of the family of Buccino Scholars was selected. The 2016 Buccino Scholarship, awarded annually to one Leadership Development Honors Program Freshman, was awarded to Mario Damasceno. This achievement was celebrated at the annual luncheon hosted by Dr. Buccino and the other Buccino Scholars, both alumni and current. Other nominees for this honor included Michael Bizzoco, Victoria Elter, Burak Eraslan, Aaron Varghese and Kira Williams. Dr. Buccino’s praise for all of the nominees is captured in his words: “Each of the nominees is incredibly talented and represents the highest principles, values and standards of the Buccino Center.” Dr. Buccino also complimented the nominees for their academic, leadership and professional excellence.
