Superbowl LVIII brought without a doubt the best two teams in the league to the biggest stage. The Kansas City Chiefs with one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game at the age of 28, and an amazing defense against the best offense in the league and an amazing defense, the San Fransisco 49ers. This Superbowl was what people were expecting from Vegas. Both teams said that everything and everyone was against them, Niners having trouble in their hotel and training ground, Taylor Swift’s flight getting more attention than the Chiefs, Kadarius Toney’s Instagram, Brock Purdy’s incredible season, and the Chiefs making history going back-to-back. This game is one to be remembered for years to come.

Sports Betting and the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl, annually one of television’s biggest events, has transformed into the premier betting occasion of the year caused by the surge in sports betting. According to the American Gaming Association bets placed on this years Super Bowl could combine to be $23.1 billion, a significant increase from the previous year. A potential reason for this is the Super Bowl, unlike most regular season games, offers some of the most interesting prop bets to hit sports books. Bettors can place wagers on how long the National Anthem will be, outcome of the coin flip, the Gatorade color poured on the coach, and many others that you wouldn’t typically see on an NFL Sunday.

Super Bowl 58 Preview: Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes, and Taylor Swift?

For the first time, the Super Bowl will take place in Las Vegas, as the Kansas City Chiefs (11-6) take on the San Francisco 49ers (12-5).
San Francisco opens Super Bowl 58 as a slight favorite, being projected to win by 1.5 points. This projection can be explained by multiple factors, one being 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy. Purdy is a finalist for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

Previewing Super Bowl LVI

The Super Bowl will be between the Bengals and the Rams at SoFi Stadium in LA. Some people thought the Rams had a chance to make the Super Bowl after their acquisition of Stafford last offseason and even more thought so after the acquisitions of Miller and Beckham midseason. The Bengals were expected to still be rebuilding with Burrow and Chase as key pieces for the future, not a Super Bowl run as early as this year.

NFL (Just Over) Halfway Review

Following the Monday Night Football game on November 15th between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers, the NFL is through 10 weeks of their 18-week season. As we passed the halfway point of the season and get close to the home stretch, it is becoming clearer by the week to see which teams are clear contenders for the Super Bowl and which teams will be jockeying for draft position come December.
