Qualifying Exam Information:
Wednesday, October 5th: Exam review session with Dr. Finkelstein & Dr. Chen from 4:00pm-4:45pm (Jubilee Hall Rm. 460).
Wednesday, October 26th: Qualifying exam will be distributed via e-mail by Ann Rodrigues.
Wednesday, November 2nd: The completed exam must be e-mailed to Ann.Rodrigues@shu.edu by 4pm EST.
Exam content is based on the core higher education doctoral courses, explicitly on the integration of knowledge from across the courses.
Doctoral Comprehensive Assessment Exam Information:
Wednesday, October 26th: The exam will be distributed—take-home format. Students will meet at 4:00pm in Jubilee Hall (room TBA) to receive the exam and review the expectations.
November 25th: The final copy of your completed Comprehensive Assessment exam must be e-mailed to Ann.Rodrigues@shu.edu by 4pm EST.
Exam provides an opportunity to explore research and theories that are directly related to a student’s potential dissertation topic.
Late responses will not be accepted. Consult your adviser with any questions.
