Happy New Year and welcome back! On behalf of the faculty of higher education programs, I’d like to first extend our appreciation to HEGSA for initiating this inaugural newsletter. It is indeed a great way for students to get informed and stay in touch with each other.
Additionally, it’s been an exciting past few months within our programs. We recently hosted a successful holiday party, where students got to know new and old peers and shared exciting experience/stories together. With the tremendous support from students and faculty, we also completed a self-study and internal/external review of our three major programs (CSPA, Ed.D, and Ph.D.). By identifying strengths and challenges, we are committed to continuous growth and program improvement!
An old Chinese proverb says that A Good Beginning is Half Way to Success. Thus, I wish you all a great start of the new semester!
