The Brady Foundation funds two types of projects: 1) evaluations of existing model programs and 2) innovative research on model development, including both efficacy and effectiveness studies. The Foundation favors:

  • Projects that bring researchers and service providers together to prove and improve the effectiveness of education environments for children at risk for poor school outcomes due to environmental factors associated with living in poverty
  • Projects that leverage other funds
  • Projects with the potential to inform or guide policy or funding decisions
  • Projects that structure time for researchers/evaluators and program providers to collaborate

Proposals should request less than $100,000 per year for a maximum of three years. Proposals that request more than that amount are required to provide additional justification. The 2013 application deadlines are April 22, August 15 and December 15. For more information, see the link below:
