The U.S. Institute of Peace’s (USIP) Annual Grant Competition funds innovative peacebuilding projects that prevent, manage or resolve violent conflict and promote post-conflict peacebuilding outside of U.S. borders. Topics can include, but are not limited to:

  • Religion and peacemaking
  • Media and conflict
  • Postconflict peace and stability operations
  • Social, psychological and physical impacts of war and conflict
  • Mediation and conflict resolution
  • Rule of law and transitional justice

Most USIP grants last for one to two years and range from $50,000 to $120,000. The next competition will open in spring 2013. For more information, see the link below:
