RERI seeks to stimulate high-quality research on real estate investment performance and market fundamentals that will elevate the quality of real estate investment decision making. Dissertations, post-dissertation research and research proposals from non-tenured faculty are all welcome. RERI’s research priorities for 2013 are:

  • Performance Measurement and Reporting
  • Real Estate Equity Investment
  • Portfolio Diversification & Real Estate as an Asset Class
  • Global Markets
  • Property Market Fundamentals
  • Mortgage-Backed Securities & Collateralized Debt Obligations

Typical funding for proposals ranges from $10,000-$15,000, but exceptionally timely and unusually costly projects are eligible to receive more. Applications are due February 4, 2013. For more information, see the link below:
