The Production and Operations Management Society’s (POMS) Skinner Award promotes significant POM research, rewards academics with significant accomplishments early in their careers and facilitates the dissemination of new ways for teaching POM. Awards are given in three categories: Best Paper in POM, Early-Career Research Accomplishments and Teaching Achievements. Awards are $1,000 for first place and $500 for second.
