The Social Science Research Council’s Dissertation Proposal Development Fellowship (DPDF) is offering $10,000 for tenured faculty in the social sciences and humanities interested in training the next generation of researchers via interdisciplinary study. Faculty selected as research directors will propose a field of study, lead student workshops and mentor students in the completion of their dissertation. DPDF will provide research directors with a $10,000 stipend and each field with $3,000 to defray the cost of various activities. The application deadline is October 3, 2012.
